I moved to London from the Middle East five years ago to pursue a career in psychotherapy and counselling. I now practice privately from my counselling room at Harley Street. I have worked with Brent Bereavement Services for two years and now I work at Hestia at The Grove Resource Centre.
I have experience working across a broad range of issues including; anxiety; panic attacks; paranoia; depression; suicidal ideation and self-harm; eating disorders; addictions; bereavement and loss; dissociation and relationship difficulties. I work with these issues in both their milder and more severe manifestations.
I gained my Post Graduate Diploma at Regent’s University’s School of Psychotherapy & Counselling Psychology in London. I am now currently writing my MA dissertation while continuing further studies in Existential Psychotherapy.
My training is integrative but my approach to therapy is existential-phenomenological. I also draw on psychodynamic and person-centred models of therapy whenever I feel they may benefit my client.
I am bilingual and practice in English as well as Arabic.
